A song i felt would fit Romeo in Romeo and Juliet

A song that i feel would fit Romeo best is the song Strawberry by Lui Joseph. I chose this song because it talks about a girl who just mesmerized this man with the cloths she wore the perfume she wore and everything else about her. Just like how Romeo felt about Juliet back at the party when they talked. " As a rich jewel in an Ethiop’s ear" this quote talks about how Romeo thinks of Juliet when they first see each other. Also " Beauty too rich for use" he is admiring her beauty and talking about her looks being too rich like to good for him. https://youtu.be/wknHGYfiKjk     song link

wolf girl debate reflection.

In my English class we read a book names st. lucy's home for girls raised by wolves. the story was about girls raised by wolves assimilating in to human culture.  the girls in the story are sisters who evolve at a different pace from each other. the smartest jeanette , in the middle claudette and the least evolved merabella.  In the prep for the debate (who the best wolf girl was)at first I was worried because my group got merabella  the least evolved.  But in the middle of the prep we had good ideas down and thought of ways she was the best by talking about the reason why they are there. to work together.                                          In the actual debate it was chaotic and I loved it. it gave me chances to poke at the other teams and make them slip up and say something wrong and they did. our team took every chance to tell someone that there cha...

Is cultural assimilation a good or bad thing in a school environment?

Is cultural assimilation a good or bad thing in a school environment? I feel that cultural assimilation is a good thing if done in an effective way, if a student feels pressure form their peers and the environment around them to change, then they should do what they feel comfortable doing most. The benefits of assimilation could be that you could relate on religious things like practice, Also you are exposed to a more diverse community of people and cultures. It is good to respect other cultures and in some cases replicate it while in that environment but to replace you're religion because it is the popular option is not ok for me at least. I feel like if you believe in the practices of a different religion then go for the one you believe in most. "Students from minority cultures might stop wearing traditional clothes, eating the way they do at home or speaking their mother-tongue." in my experience around our school people are comfortable with there religion and traditio...

local eats

foods to eat from my home town.  I am from Richmond hill in New York and some of the foods that are mandatory to at least try are… 1 Bacon egg and cheese: a New York staple food for the go and can be found at most deli places. 2 A sandwich from subway: it’s an iconic food for me no mater what you put on it if you are hungry and have no food at home subway is the way. I recommend  buffalo chicken Swiss cheese on multi grain bread with any vegetables you want on it.  3 Chop cheese: I only recently tried one but I believe it is very good but the price is a little much but I can look past it Because price changes from deli to deli. 4: Carvel a great ice cream shop to get a cold treat from and a good place to stop after the New Years fireworks.  Those are all of the places I recommend to people coming to Richmond hill.
